Customer Reviews from the United States

kari:
Title: An impressive scope with great wide field views
Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Date: January 31, 2023
Comment: I purchased this scope for a decent-sized grab and go, and it exceeded my expectations. The build quality is exceptional, with a heavy-duty dew shield that surprised me. The optics deliver excellent color correction for both visual and photographic use. The wide field views and resolution are remarkable, making it a fantastic addition to my collection. My only complaint is the slightly challenging lens cover replacement and a minor adjustment needed for the focuser, but overall, a fantastic scope.

Rich:
Title: Excellent performance and features for the price range.
Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Date: June 6, 2022
Comment: This relatively inexpensive telescope is surprisingly good. Although there is some chromatic aberration compared with more expensive telescopes, it's not bad and the objective lens is actually very sharp. Use good eyepieces and you're all set. The view of the Moon with a 6mm eyepiece was really nice. At the other end of magnification, the view with a 22mm eyepiece of general star fields was very pleasing. This would make an excellent scope for a young person, someone interested in general observing, or an expert who wants a grab-and-go scope or for outreach events.

Amazon Customer:
Title: Very nice scope for the money
Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Date: August 5, 2023
Comment: I have used this scope for a year now, and it has been a rock-solid scope. It has lived for at least 6 months outside under a tarp. I was surprised that this particular scope has very little CA. I use it with Canon DSLR cameras and had no flexure in the draw tube. Smooth focuser, but I did have to readjust the shims when received. I would recommend it for a budget setup.

Aubrey:
Title: SVBony is breaking the “Cheap product” stigma with this one.
Rating: 5.0 out of 5 stars
Date: June 12, 2023
Comment: This SVBony 80mm APO triplet has exceeded my expectations and shattered the stigma around cheap products. Despite its lower cost, it performs exceptionally well. The 80mm f/6 configuration with the 1x field flattener produces true, flattened 480mm images. Once I corrected the backspacing, the images were clear from corner to corner with vibrant colors. The minor negatives, such as focal locks and dust, are easily overshadowed by its outstanding performance. Stop questioning the cost; it's a heavyweight at a fraction of the price.

The 122mm variant is impressive, offering clear views and crisp stars. It has become an essential tool for my astrophotography endeavors. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a reliable and high-quality telescope.
